Milot Bertrand, A devoted father, left a lasting impression on everyone he came into contact with. Born in Okay, Haiti, June 9th, 1937, to the parentage of the late Georges and Rosa Bertrand, he was spoiled, yet instilled with a strong work ethic and resilience from an early age. He was a nurse, manager, a businessman, entrepreneur, and a fan of Coupe Cloué. His journey served as a tribute to the sacrifices he made in order to support the people he loved, and his dedication to his family was unmatched.
From sunrise to sunset, Milot worked tirelessly to provide his family with the possibilities he was never afforded. His footsteps, heard in the home long after sunset and before dawn when he left for work, eventually became a comforting pattern. His kind smile and reassuring presence, even after long hours, turned our home into a safe sanctuary of love and security.
Milot was unrestricted in his generosity, even beyond his family. His heart was as big as the sky and was always willing to lend a hand to those in need. His acts of kindness, whether they were helping out a neighbor, or encouraging a friend, inspired everyone around him. His generosity extended beyond material gestures; his contagious laugh had a special ability to brighten the spirit of others. Moreover, he stood as a pillar of strength in times of hardship.
On December 22nd, 2023, Milot was called home to be with the Lord. Sharing the memories of his wonderful life are:
His Sons: Henry, Serge, Billy, and Kalou Bertrand
His Daughters: Nerly, Christelle, Bianka, Sarah, Marquis, Misole, Claudinette, Beoty and 21 grandchildren.
His sister: Josette Bertrand Moise
His Brothers: Kesnel and Michel Bertrand
Milot left behind an incredible legacy that endures in the many lives he impacted. His is a tale of resilience, selflessness, and boundless love. Even though he is no longer physically present, his warmth of soul and the echoes of his laughter continue to exist, creating an archive of memories that we will forever treasure.
