Mirlande Dorvil

Mirlande Dorvil was born on January 12 ,1978 in Fond-Verettes, Haiti, to the parentage of the late Alice Marie Dorvil. Mirlande Dorvil resided in Port-au-Prince, where she earned her degree in teaching.

Mirlande Dorvil took pride in teaching her younger students and raising her daughter Theresa Jean and her sister Kettia Casimir. Mirlande enjoyed activities such as cooking, spending time with her family, and listening to gospel music. After the 2010 earthquake, Mirlande left Haiti to rebuild her life in the US.

While in the US, Mirlande took care of her family and built a career in the healthcare services field. Her dedication to service and community has been the center focus of her 15 years career, taking care of the elderly population.

Mirlande Dorvil was a loving and dedicated mother. Who took pride in her responsibilities and duties. She instills the value of education, and hard work into her children.

 Mirlande Dorvil is known for youthful spirit, vibrant smile and a kind soul. A confidant to many of those who had the honor of knowing her. She is often seen laughing and spending time with her family and friends.

Lastly, Mirlande Dorvil was a philanthropist and a pecan of her church community. She believed in giving back to her community by sponsoring children’s education in Haiti.

On March 11, 2025, Mirlande Dorvil was called home to be with the lord. Sharing the memories of her beautiful and fruitful life are:
