Oczane Dalce was born on October 12, 1968, in Marchand-Dessalines. She was one of eight children, with five sisters and two brothers, all of whom she loved deeply. Her parents were Alcera Dalce and Inomia Francilus She was the middle child she was the 6th of 8 children. Oczane left Marchand dessalines to go live in port au prince so that she can finish her education, she went to school in center deludes Lumiere in carrefour, after her studies she went on and had a baby boy which is her only son Arthur Joseph, She remained devoted to her faith in the Indejen church.
Growing up, Oczane Dalce was known for her calm, quiet, and helpful nature around the house. On September 17, 2002, at the age of 34, she came to the United States Oczane Dalce was a member of the CEA Church of God. In 2008, she learned about the House of Prayer and began attending services there as well. Her first job was at Angelica, where she worked for six years. She later worked at Path-mark before moving on to Silver Line.
Oczane also dedicated herself to caring for a child in Haiti named Princess. She began supporting Princess when she was eight years old and continued to care for her for ten years. Oczane paid off her school loan and regularly sent money to ensure she had food and proper care. Princess is now eighteen.
Oczane loved cooking and cleaning. She leaves behind two grandchildren, ten nieces, and ten nephews. To her nieces and nephews, she was like a second mother teaching them how to follow Christ, showing respect and kindness, and living with a gentle heart. She disliked arguments and never sought conflict with anyone. We will miss you so much, Oczane. Thank you for everything you’ve done for us we love and appreciate you more than words can say. Rest in peace, Oczane Dalce.
