Olius Jolicoeur né le 8 mars 1949 à Hinche Haïti. Il est le 2e des cinq enfants de  M. Lunstant Jolicoeur et de Mme Carmelie Valmir décédés. Il a fait ses études primaires à l'Ecole Nationale de Hinche et ses études secondaires à l'école Dumarsais Estimé. Après ses études secondaires, il est nommé professeur à l'école Saint-Jean.

En 1971, il etait entre à Port-au-Prince Haïti et fesait partie du groupe Léopard dont il etait la première promotion. En 1983, il etait nommé lieutenant des forces armées d'Haïti et etait tranferre au cartier general et puis au département de l'intérieur pour un service spécial. En 1990, il a participe à un cour de formation aux États-Unis et a recu un diplôme pour le bien de service rendu par l'ancien président George W Bush père.

 En 1993, il a décide de rester aux États-Unis avec sa famille. En 1978, il épousa sa femme bien-aimée Salanette Jolicoeur et a eu quatre enfants Garry, Vardy, Gardy et Wendy Jolicoeur. De 1997 à 2007, il a travaillé chez Clairmont Autogroup. Il était un membre actif du groupe de Soldats de Christ à L’Eglise de Dieu Mont des Oliviers. Il a été malade depuis 2007 jusqu’a 2023.

Olius Jolicoeur était un homme de grand caractère, sage, poli, respectueux, un mari aimant et un père merveilleux. Olius Jolicoeur a été rappelé à la maison par son Seigneur et Sauveur Jesus Christ le 29 mars 2023. Il laisse dans le deuil son épouse Salanette Jolicoeur et ses enfants Garry Jolicoeur, Vardy Jolicoeur et son épouse Natacha et leurs enfants Christie, Christian, Christopher, Christlen, Christenson; Gardy Jolicoeur et son épouse Valérie et leurs enfants Noah, Adam, Colin et Wendy Jolicoeur; sa soeur Anouse Bertile et son frère Matineau ainsi que plusieurs nièces et neveux. Il manquera beaucoup à tous ceux qui l'aiment.


Olius Jolicoeur born on March 8th, 1949, in Hinche Haiti. He is the 2nd of five children of the late Mr. Lunstant Jolicoeur and the late Ms Carmelie Valmir. He did his primary studies at the National School of Hinche and his secondary studies at the Dumarsais Estime school. After his secondary studies, he was named as professor at the St. Jean School.

In 1971, he entered Port-Au-Prince Haiti and was part of the Leopard group, in which he was the first promotion. In 1983, He was appointed as a Lieutenant of the Haitian armed forces and was transferred to the general district and then to the interior department for a special service. In 1990, he participated in a training course in the United States and received a diploma for the good of service from the former president George W Bush Senior.

 In 1993, he decided to stay in the United States with his family. In 1978 he married his beloved Salanette Jolicoeur and had four children Garry, Vardy, Gardy and Wendy Jolicoeur. From 1997 to 2007 he worked at the Clairmont Auto Group. He was an active member of the Soldats de Christ at Mount Olives Church of God. He was ill from 2007 to 2023.

Olius Jolicoeur was a man of great character, wise, polite, respectful, a loving husband and a wonderful father. Olius Jolicoeur was called home by his Lord and Savior on March, 29, 2023. He is survived by his wife Salanette Jolicoeur and his children Garry Jolicoeur, Vardy Jolicoeur and his wife Natacha and their children Christie, Christian, Christopher, Christlen, Christenson; Gardy Jolicoeur and his wife Valerie and their Children Noah, Adam, Colin, and Wendy Jolicoeur; his sister Anouse Bertile and his brother Matineau and many nieces and nephews. He will be dearly missed by all who loves him.
