Piercius Sejour (Pre) was born on January 14, 1944, in Haute-Fueille, Haiti to the late Dacius Sejour and Altinette Altidor. Piercius completed his high school at College Union des Gonaives. Piercius was the oldest son in the family, therefore, he had to assist his father in the farming industries. Piercius was a trustworthy citizen and well known in the community of Haute-Fueille. After many years working along his father's side farming, he decided he wanted to become a police officer officer/minicien during the government of ex-President Duvalier. Piercius meets a beautiful girl, who will become his wife and her name is Adelia Benoit. Piercius was married to his wife Adelia sejour for 52 years and together they had nine children. Piercius migrated with his family to the United States on March 12, 1994. Being the hardworking man he was, our father wasted no time went straight to work at silver line windows & doors company, he worked there for the past 28 years. Piercius continued to care and provide for his family both here in the USA and back home Haiti. Piercius was not only a father to us but also a friend, & advisor to all his children and grandchildren. All this will change on that awful day of March 3, 2024, two months after celebrating his 80th year's birthday in the presence of his wife, children, and grandchildren. Piercius went to hospital because he was not feeling too well, once at the hospital he would be hospitalized due to lung failure. On March 5, 2024, Piercius was called home to be with the lord.
