Pierre Batravil

Pierre Duguins Batravil was born in Liancourt, Haiti on July 27, 1959. From a young age he was a devout Catholic, who cared deeply about his relationship with the Lord.  He planned to start his journey to the priesthood and while life’s circumstances didn’t allow him to finish that path, his faith never changed.

He left Haiti to pursue a better life like most of us here. As he started on this journey, he experienced a lot of turbulence, but his dedication to his work and his beliefs were always present.

Who doesn’t know Guins?  He was a strong, giving person and never hesitated to give you his last dime.  He was always sociable and happy to talk to his family and friends.  Even when he suffered through life, he would not complain.  He lived a simple, quiet life and throughout his days he overcame many difficulties.  However, as we all know, there is a day that no one can overcome.  We cannot stop that day from coming, but our faith gives us strength to continue life.  May his belief and faith be ab example for us who are left behind and give us strength in our moments of sorrow.

Pierre Duguins Batravil is survived by his brother and sister.  To the family and friends, thank you for taking the time to share in our moment of sorrow in loving memory of our dear brother.
