Pierre Wadson Nerius

Pierre Wadson Nerius was born on February 2, 1972, in Port-au-Prince, Haiti, to his parents Marie Lourdes Charles and Bellizaire Nerius. From a young age, Pierre demonstrated an incredible work ethic, driven by the need to support his large family in the face of hardship. His life in Haiti was marked by resilience and responsibility, as he cared for many people around him, including his extended family.

In 2001, Pierre moved to the United States in search of better opportunities. Shortly after, he returned to Haiti to marry Marjorie Lorenard in 2002. After their wedding, Pierre returned to the U.S., settling in Brooklyn, New York, where he worked tirelessly to provide for himself and his family. In 2007, Pierre welcomed his first child, Abraham Nerius.

A year later, in 2008, his wife Marjorie joined him in the U.S., and the couple worked hard to build a life together. In 2009, they celebrated the birth of their Second Child, Wanjos Nerius, followed by the birth of their Third Child, Jasiah Nerius, in 2012.

Throughout his life, Pierre was known for his unwavering dedication and hardworking spirit, even as he battled severe Sickle Cell Anemia. Despite the pain and challenges caused by his illness, he remained committed to supporting those around him, always ready to lend a helping hand no matter his own struggles. Pierre’s perseverance and strength were an inspiration to all who knew him.

On October 8, 2024, Pierre Wadson Nerius was called home to be with the Lord. He leaves behind a legacy of love, determination, and resilience. He is survived by his beloved wife, Marjorie Lorenard, his mother Marie Lourdes Charles, his father Belizaire Nerius, his children Abraham, Wanjos, and Jasiah Nerius, and his siblings: Sony Dasilva Cetoute, Marie Nirva Cetoute, Diana Cetoute, Marie Gina Cetoute, Wadner Nerius, Derline Nerius, Lovely Nerius, Naomi Nerius, Jesse Nerius, Jesson Nerius, Ruth Nerius, and Frances Nerius, along with a host of nieces and nephews.

Pierre’s memory will forever live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved him.
