Pierre Wilcky Jeanty

Pierre Wilcky “Kiki” Jeanty was born on February 10, 1958, in Arcahaie, Haiti to the parentage of Klebert Jeanty and Esperanta Mathieu. While in Haiti, he worked as a farmer cultivating the family land. He migrated to Florida at the age of 24 in 1982 where he worked as a sous chef. He later migrated to New Jersey in 1986 which became his home for the remainder of his life. In 1999, he converted to Christianity and gave his life to Jesus. He dedicated his life to the work of God where he was faithful to the house of God. Pierre loved the house of God and the people of God. He was a devout man who loved the Lord and strong in his convictions. He raised his children in the Lord where every night he would have family prayer meetings and he raised his children to pray and read the scriptures daily. He was a big advocate of education and encouraged his children to pursue higher learning. Pierre was a dedicated family man where he was hands on and involved in the lives of his kids. He cooked, clean, and was a very present husband and father. He was a strong, assertive man and everyone who knew him felt his presence. He was a leader and loved by many, many people. Despite his illness, Pierre continued to worship God every moment of his life. He worshipped through his sickness and his pain. He was a man who really loved the Lord.

Sadly, on May 9, 2025, Pierre was called home to be with the Lord. He is survived by:

His children: Leonard Jeanty and Constance Jeanty

His brothers: Pierre “Willy” Dorléon and Jean Berthon Jeanty

His sisters: Florette Jeanty, Solange Jeanty, Wilda Jeanty, Dieudonne Jeanty Jean-Louis, Roselande Jeanty Charlier, Clifoda Jeanty François, Weslie Jeanty Dentilus

His grandchildren: Anaica Marcia Jeanty, Kyro Leonard Jeanty, Iyauni Nadege Tammie Jeanty and Prince Pierre Kai Jeanty
