Raymond Previl

Raymond Previl AKA “Ti Sonson", "Pijon", "Lopez" was born on June 11,1955 in Trou-Du-Nord, Haiti to the parentage of the late Mentor and Adina Previl. Raymond attended Ecole National des Garcons in Haiti for his studies. He enjoyed playing soccer, music and having fun with his friends. In his youth, he was immersed in the Christian community and was one of the founders of Groupe Hommes Pour Mission of Eglise Baptiste de Trou-Du-Nord. At in early age, he found his passion for jewelry and became the most recognize Jeweler in his town. At the age of 22, he had his first son, Reynald Previl (deceased) and his daughter Georgie Jasmin.

On October 2, 1982, Raymond married the love of his life Rose Daniel Romain “Poupette”. Together they had four beautiful children: Rodney, Jeff, Roudeley (deceased) and Rosemonde Previl with patience, discipline and humility. In 2006 Raymond and Rose decided to leave in New Jersey to support their children while they going to school. While residing in the US, he worked at Hilton Hotel Parsippany. He was so secretive, “sil sere on bagay, ou pa fouti jwenn li, lel fe on mayi moulin ak zo, se koupe dwet”. Pagen on moun kite renmen music “Marie Lourdes” de Septent ke Pijon. Raymond was an amazing husband, father, grandfather, brother, uncle, cousin and friend.

On October 3,2023, Raymond Previl departed from this life to be reunited with his Lord and Savior, the day after their 41 Marriage Anniversary. Raymond was blessed enough to see the picture of his grandson Reyan Ishir Previl. He will be remembered for his sense of humor, his love for his family and grandchildren. Raymond left behind a beautiful legacy of devotion to God, commitment to his family and he will be dearly missed by his loved ones.
