Raymond Joseph Isbeck was born on January 16, 1946, in Aquin, Haiti, to René César Ysbeck and Eva, his mother, whom he lost in childhood. Married to Marie Carmel Lorestal, the love of his life, they had 13 children, 32 grandchildren, and 2 great-grandchildren. On April 3, in the 1960s, he accepted Jesus as his savior at the Church of God on rue du Centre. After the implant of the church “Eglise Evangélique Indigene of Haiti” (EEIH) in Carrefour, he joined and was ordained as a pastor, after years of service and training, by Reverend Pastor Victor Félix in the late 1970s.
After more than 40 years of ministry, Pastor Raymond left Haiti to temporarily settle in Canada. On his way to permanently reside in the United States, he passed away on July 21, 2024, in Boston, surrounded by his wife, his daughter, Ruth; his son-in-law, Guito; and his grandson, McBride. His departure to eternity was marked by joy, peace, and serenity. The Lord gave and the Lord has taken away; blessed be the name of the Lord (Job 1:21).
With Jesus, all things are possible!
