Roger was born on October 24, 1949 in Port Au Prince, Haiti to the parentage of the late Victor Remy and Aguelie Remy. He came to this country of the United States at age of 29 years old in 1978; Roger went back to Haiti in 1979 and to get married to his beloved wife, Zeila Remy.
Roger worked at Linden Assembly factory in Linden, New Jersey for 20 years. He also worked at a nursing home for a few years after leaving the factory. Then, he moved to Boston, Massachusetts in 2008 and worked at another nursing home as maintenance in 2009. Thereafter, in 2014 he retired from the nursing home.
Roger was a very handy man; he really liked fixing things or repairing things in the house especially when it is broken and putting his mind into it to get it done. He also loved partying, dancing, and cooking with his family and friends at social gatherings or any other fun events. On his free time Roger enjoyed playing the lottery scratch off cards.
In March. 21, 2021, Roger was called home to be with the Lord. Sharing the memories of his wife, his sons, his brothers, his sisters, and his grandchildren.
