Rosemene Delmond

Rosemene Delmond was born on August 18, 1957 in Port-au-Prince, Haiti. Daughter of Claire Bolivar and Charius Dufleur. Rosemene completed a high school level education and went on to be a  restaurant chef as well as a small business owner. She married Andre Delmond and sought refuge in the United States, looking for a better opportunity for her children. In the U.S, she continued working in the restaurant industry. She also enjoyed working in her local community, whether it’s preparing food or donating for a great cause. She always used to show passion in those endeavors. 

 In her earlier years in the U.S., two of her sons were in Haiti. She worked tirelessly in order to bring them to the states. She became a widow in 2003, and began the journey of a single mom, having to  raise her three boys on her own. She was a loving soul, and always had a smile on her face. She was a member of New vision church of Nazarene in Brooklyn, New York. Her faith in God was always a guiding light and a constant reference in the way she lived her life.

 Rosemene Delmond leaves behind 3 sons: Handy Delmond, Andre Jr. Delmond and Wife, Johnathan Delmond, also left behind her 2 grandkids: Gage and Cassidy. Her older brother Jean Mary Chery and Wife, Her sister-in-Law: Monique Gedeon Wife of Deceased brother Jean Serge Gedeon. Her Nieces and Nephew Jean Mark Chery and family, Daphney Chery, Elysee Chery and family, Nathanael Chery, Stanley Gedeon and Family, Lee Gedeon. Her Cousins Joseph Bolivar and family, Marie C Bolivar, Luckens Bolivar and Family, Herbert Bolivar and family. And many many more cousins and family.
