Ruth Augusta Mark

Ruth Mark, born March 27, 1947, in Trinidad, W.I. and left us on Sunday, August 4, 2024.  She is survived by her husband Calus, her son Dave, grandson Brandon and great grandchildren Zana and Zion. She is remembered by Brothers Peter Simon, Martin Simon, and Christopher Simon. She was a light to all who knew her.  Ruth lived life fully and happy.  She traveled from Trinidad to the United States to make a better life for herself and her family which is where she passed.

Ruth was always joyful with a full laugh and quick wit.  She was never intentionally harmful to anyone and was genuine to everyone.  She spent her entire life caring for others including as a caregiver of children both in the family and others, as a housekeeper and an elder caregiver.  She had the gentle disposition to make others feel cared for and at peace.

Ruth was the consummate warrior.  She fights for her family and friends.  She fought cancer.  She beat breast cancer.  She beat bone cancer with a hip replacement.  But this time God called his daughter home.  It was time for Ruth to rest.
