Saint Jean Fombrun was born in Desdunes, Haiti on 18th December 1951. He was the child of the union of Elithan Fombrun and Nosilia Ceus . Saint Jean attended primary classes at " École Communautaire Grand Desdunes " he went to " Lycée Fabres Nicolas Geffrard des Gonaïves " and moved to Port Au Prince and attend to " Lycée Toussaint Louverture " to continue his secondary studies.
He traveled to the United States in 1975 where he has worked at Ashland for mostly 4 years before leaving it to go to the NJIT (New Jersey Institue of Technolgy) where He got his diploma in electrical engineering in the early 80’s. He has worked at Sony corporation for several years. In 1997 Saint Jean returned to Haiti, in January 1999 he was promoted as the Deputy Director of the Directorate of Immigration and Emigration of Haiti until 2016 after being named deputy director of the " Centre d'information et de coordination conjointe" (CICC).
Saint Jean had an active life and fathered 5 lovely children: Oswald, Ruth, Fred, Carl, and Frantz Fombrun. His legacy will last through the years.
