Sainte Rose was a beautiful and loving soul. She entered this world February 5, 1950, in the beautiful city of Dam Mari, Haiti. A daughter to Monique Edourad and Damas Renois. One of many siblings, she was taught that the family bond is one that is important, and that should be honored and cherished. This value can also be seen in her relationships with friends and extended family.
In her later years, she met and fell in love with Sainyocles Leon, who would become her husband. Looking for a better opportunity, the couple decided to migrate to the United States before expanding their family. They decided to plants roots in Irvington, New Jersey where they had three beautiful daughter Chrisma, Esther, and Shanera Leon. Under her guidance the children flourished academically with all accomplishing the undergraduate degrees and being successful in the fields.
After the tragic loss of her first-born daughter and husband, she continued to keep her faith and trust in God to guide her through. Eventually she developed a terminal condition however, she continued to stay positive, bring joy to those she came in contact with. She spent her final days in a loving and caring environment with her daughter Esther. Sainte Rose leaves behind her daughters Esther, Shanera, and Jeannelia Leon (stepdaughter) and grandchildren.
