In Loving Memory of Simone Jean

Simone, a devoted daughter of the Volcy family, was born and raised in Dame-Marie, in the Grand’Anse department of Haiti. She was the youngest of four children.

From her youth, Simone was known as a respectful and hardworking woman, devoted to her family and grounded in faith. She was raised in the Catholic tradition and, after emigrating to the United States, she became a steadfast Seventh-day Adventist. Her faith guided every aspect of her life, shaping her into a humble servant of God.

Simone was truly a people person - welcoming, kind, and full of warmth. Her gentle smile and generous heart made everyone feel valued and at home. Following her retirement, Simone continued a life of service—volunteering and supporting her community programs. Her life stood as a living testimony of resolute dedication, love, and perseverance.

On October 15, 2025, Simone was called home to rest with the Lord. She was preceded by her beloved parents— Noemi and Lovius; siblings— Elude, Lovius Jr. “Bobby”, Olecyde; and son— Germain.

She is lovingly remembered by her daughter Diana; grandchildren Fabiola and Ethan; nieces and nephews— Adrian, Armel, Luisina, Nancy, Richelande, Saül, Stephanie, Velan, Velande, and Olex; and more family members and cherished friends.

Her light, faith, and legacy will continue to shine brightly in the hearts of all who knew and loved her.
