Solange Eloir Obituary

Solange Innocent Eloir was born September 30th, 1962 in Desdunes, Haiti, daughter of the late Innocent Eloir and Carmen Ceus who resides in Haiti. Before immigrating Solange Innocent Eloir was born September 30th, 1962 in Desdunes, Haiti, daughter of the late Innocent Eloir and Carmen Ceus who resides in Haiti. After immigrating to the United States and embarking on a new journey in 1988, Solange completed her secondary studies in Haiti. Once in the United States, she pursued a career in hospitality management. She then went on to work in the restaurant industry where she developed a passion for cooking and loved trying many cultural dishes.

Solange was very generous, kind, and loving. She was also a very giving woman, who never let visitors leave her house on a empty stomach or empty handed. Solange was extremely family oriented and loved spending time with her son and nine siblings. Solange was viewed as the backbone of the Eloir family and ensured that they stayed close. She was the definition of an independent woman who walked with pride and always put her best foot forward in life.

Solange had deep love and great pride for her only child, Kevin Lovaincy. From an early age, Solange taught her son the importance of discipline, education and hard work. She worked long hours and late nights to provide for her family and paved a path of success for her son. She was extremely proud of Kevin who received both his Bachelor’s and Master’s degree from Tufts University, in Medford, MA. Kevin now serves as the Assistant Director of Diversity and Inclusion for The Massachusetts Department of Public Health. Solange was very proud of Kevin’s accomplishments and often spoke about Kevin’s success.

On February 20th, 2021, Solange received an early call to be home with the Lord. She is now peacefully resting in His hands. She will be greatly missed, and we will idolize her memories endlessly. Sharing and remembering the   memories of her wonderful life are her son Kevin Lovaincy, her sisters  Michaelle Eloir and Marguerite Eloir, and her brothers Pierre Eloir, Joachim Eloir, Sebastian Eloir, Robest Eloir, Wilson Eloir, Pericleste Eloir, and  Hugues Valcius.
