Suffrant Vincent Né à Desdunes le 17 Janvier 1926. Des œuvres de Meliance Vincent et Alcina Jean Baptiste. Marié le 20 Avril 1952 a sa femme née Vatera Therlonge. Avec laquelle il a eu 10 enfants Joanès, Serge, Guy, Lucrèce, Meuvz, Sylvana, John, Nicole, Christian, et Christine et deux autres Garçons Iliotaire et Michelet.

         Il a fait ses études à St Marc Haïti. Il a près de 25 petits enfants Kaléa, Kerby, Ricky, Shawn, Carmelys, Catline, Meuvz 2nd, Vanicka, Gregory, John, Louis, Jonathan, Jeffrey, Nathan, Annelie Étienne, et trois enfants de Christian.

       Il a émigré aux états unis le 17 Décembre 1972 et a travaille pendant plus de 25 ans dans un Bakery a Queens, NY. Ses enfants et sa femme le rejoint dix ans plus tard. Il aimait la vie tellement qu’il pensait qu’il vivrait 100 ans. Après la mort de sa femme, sa vie changea complètement. Il ne pouvait plus marcher et passa les trois dernières années au lit.

       En Décembre dernier il a eu des complications pour respirer et il passait une semaine a l’hôpital et finalement, il a eu un dernier stroke qui l’empêchait d’avaler et c’est ce qui a causé sa mort, faute de pourvoir d’avaler quoique ce soit. Il a deux sœur vivantes Alcina Collin et Sadila Désir. Il a Beaucoup de neveux et nièces. Il sera manque par beaucoup d’amis. Les plus intimes Pasteur St Pierre, Pasteur Etienne, Emmanuel Mercedat…

 

       Suffrant Vincent born at Desdunes, Haiti, January 17th, 1926. Son of  Meliance  Vincent and Alcina Jean Baptiste. Married on Avril 20th, 1952 with his wife Vatera Therlonge. They have ten children : Joanès, Serge, Guy, Lucrèce, Meuvz, Sylvana, John, Nicole, Christian, et Christine et deux autres Garçons  Iliotaire, and Michelet.

      Suffrant went to school at St Marc, Haïti. He has nearly twenty-five grandchildren: Kaléa, Kerby, Ricky, Shawn, Carmelys, Catline, Meuvz 2nd, Vanicka, Gregory, John, Louis, Jonathan, Jeffrey, Nathan, Annelie Étienne, trois enfants de Christian….

      He migrated to the US on December 17th, 1972 and worked at a bakery in queens, NY for over twenty-five years. His wife and children followed him ten years later. He loved life so much that he thought that he would live one hundred years. After his wife pass, his life had completely changed. He couldn’t walk anymore and spent his last three years in bed.

    Last December Suffrant had complications to breathe and he spent a week in the   hospital and finally, he had a last stroke that prevented him from swallowing and that is what caused his death. He has two sisters alive, Alcina Collin and Sadila Désir. He will be mourned by many nephews, nieces, cousins, and friends.
