Vilsaint Belton Sr. was a man whose life reflected the love of God in every word, every action, and every relationship. Born on March 8, 1955, he lived with purpose, grace, and a deep commitment to his faith, family, and friends.
He was an excellent husband—faithful, supportive, and kind—a true partner and protector. As a father and grandfather, he led with gentleness and wisdom, always present, always dependable, and always loving. His family was his pride and joy, and his legacy of integrity and strength will live on through each of them.
Vilsaint was deeply relatable—he made everyone feel like family. Whether he met you once or had known you for years, he treated people with respect, honor, and sincere kindness. He had a way of connecting with others that was genuine and lasting, always seeing the best in those around him.
He was a man of God, devoted not just in words but in how he lived. His faith was the foundation of his life, guiding him to love generously, forgive freely, and serve others with a joyful heart. He honored everyone, gave freely of himself, and never hesitated to lend a hand or offer a prayer.
And oh, could he cook. His meals were more than food—they were an expression of love, a gathering point for family and friends, and a source of comfort and joy. His kitchen was a sacred space where stories were shared, laughter echoed, and hearts were filled.
Vilsaint Belton Sr. leaves behind a powerful legacy of faith, honor, and love. He is survived by his beloved family:
Jimmy Belton, Valdi Belton, Vilsaint Belton Jr., Viliane Belton, Vania Belton, Angela Belton, Jessica Belton, Jeramiah Belton, Henoch Belton, Néhémie Belton, Christelle Belton, Esther Belton, Nevay Belton, Indiana Belton, Valdi Belton Jr., and Timothy Belton.
Though we grieve his passing, we celebrate his life—one that was full of meaning, purpose, and the love of Christ. He has fought the good fight, finished the race, and kept the faith. We know heaven rejoices as he enters his eternal rest.
“Well done, good and faithful servant… enter into the joy of your Lord.”
– Matthew 25:23 (NKJV)
