Wag-Mar John Francois

Beloved Pastor Wag-mar Francois went home to be with the Lord on August 4, 2021. He was born on June 26, 1955 in Les Cayes, Haiti to loving parents Justine Marguerite Barrateau and Wagner Francois, both deceased. In 1973, he migrated to Montclair, New Jersey. Wag-mar worked as an electrician for a majority of his career, but devoted his life to serving the Lord. In 1980, he began attending Mount Olive Church of God and has been committed there for 40 years. In 1984, he married Marie Anne and was a devoted and loving husband for 37 years. Over the years, the Lord blessed them with three beautiful children: Marline, Jonathan, and Theomar. In 1999, Wag-mar and his family relocated to the Poconos. Several years later in 2007, he founded Pocono Mount Olives Church of God. The latter part of his life, he became ordained as a minister and was committed to serving his church and community. He is survived by his wife, 3 children, stepmother, 7 brothers, 3 sisters, and many aunts, uncles, nephews, nieces, cousins, brother-in-laws, sister-in-laws, and many more family and friends.
