Wesner Causene

Wesner Causene was born on December 5, 1952 in Gressier de Leogane, Haiti to the late Tira Causene and Lilianne Guerrier. He attended Ecole Adventise “Du bon Berger” for elementary school and Lycee Petion for high school. He left Haiti in the 1970’s and his first job was at Frigidaire as a factory worker. He was loved by many and enjoyed being a driving school instructor.

Wesner was a church goer, enjoyed helping others, played the guitar, and enjoyed playing soccer as a teen. While residing in the United States, he cared and provided for his family. Wesner loved his children and made sure he was present at all his children’s accomplishments. He was loving, caring, and his smile could light up a room. Wesner would give the shirt off his back and was selfless in his actions. He was a kind and gentle man. Wesner was married for 42 years to his wife Euphemie Causene and celebrated his last anniversary on 09/20/2022.

On 03/19/2023, Wesner was called home to be with the Lord. Sharing the memories of his wonderful life are his wife Euphemie Causene, his children Rebecca Causene, Joel Causene, Caleb Causene, Esther Causene, his grandchildren Amaya Naimah Causene, Amani Jada Causene, Asiyah Azaria Causene, Nicholas Jacob Lett, Matthew Sean Lett, Rachel Alexis Lett, Riley Bee Kanneh, Richard Kermoh Kanneh, his sisters Roselene Causene Louissant, Marie Rose Causene St. Phard, Camita Causene Pierre Louis, Wolene Causene Jean Louis and his nieces and nephews Samson Louissant, Jean Zache Louissant, Jean Isaac Louissant, Rosegnace Louissant, Sara Marie Eunice Louissant, Ericksen St. Phard, Kelsey T. St. Phard, Jeff M. Pierre Louis, Jones Kenny Pierre Louis, Kirstie M. Pierre Louis, Woolenjina Jean Louis, and Laura Jean Louis.
