Wilbens Felix Israel was born on December 26, 1996, to his mother and father, Marie Idlie Francois-Israel and Wilfrid Israel, in Rahway, NJ. He grew up in Elizabeth, NJ, where he attended Nicholas Murray Butler School #23. Wilbens later moved to Roselle, NJ, and resided for the rest of his days, where he finished his remaining schooling at Leonard V. Moore School, Grace Wilday Junior High School, and Abraham Clark High School. During Wilbens's time in Roselle, he played for Roselle Pop Warner and Abraham Clark High School football team. In 2015, Wilbens graduated from Abraham Clark High School, receiving his high school diploma. During his early childhood to his young adult age, Wilbens attended Outreach Evangelism Ministry Church in Elizabeth, NJ. He was part of the youth ministry, where he volunteered during the annual church crusades and other church activities.
After graduating from high school, Wilbens chose to work and begin his career. He worked at Wendy's and Amazon until he could complete his CDL classes and training program to become a Commercial Driver officially in 2019. After he completed the CDL program, he went on to work at Schneider National Logistics Company for two years. Then, he transferred to JB Hunt Transport Services Company for three more years until his passing. Wilbens also ventured out on new beginnings in the Trading and Investing industries, where he explored and picked up many new skills. Wilbens has had a lucrative and expansive career full of exploration and learning.
In 2018, Wilbens met his fiancé, Tylayja Moore. They began dating on August 5, 2018, and immediately fell for one another. They had a genuine connection from the beginning and could talk and spend time with each other for hours. They did not care what they were doing; they looked forward to ending their nights with one another. On September 5, 2018, Wilbens decided to make their relationship official; he asked, and she said yes.
From there, their love and bond grew stronger. Their relationship became more established as being best friends, growing and learning as life partners; Wilbens and Tylayja were inseparable. They realized that they complemented each other perfectly. Where one had an area to grow and learn, the other was strong and knowledgeable, and they spread their knowledge to pour into each other and make their relationship a strong, indestructible union.
Over the years of being together, they planned for their future. On March 12, 2023, Wilbens asked Tylayja for her hand in marriage. She happily replied, "You already know my answer is yes. I was waiting on you!" They planned to announce their great news with family and friends once they aligned all other aspects of their lives as they envisioned. Unfortunately, they did not get to live out their marriage plans together.
Wilbens was predeceased by his mother, Marie Idlie Israel Francois. On October 4, 2023, Wilbens peacefully went to be with the Lord and his mother. He leaves behind his father, Wilfrid Israel, two sisters, Emmanuella G. Francois and Midlie A. Israel, and his fiancé, Tylayja I. Moore. He was known as a giving, easy-going, laidback, down-to-earth, caring, loving, and thoughtful person, and he will be greatly missed and remembered.
