Wiltha Freycinet passed away on April 15, 2022, at the age of 81 surrounded by loved ones who will continue to honor her legacy.
Wiltha Freycinet was born as Wiltha Nelson, on January 18,1941 in Petit-Goave,Haiti to the late Idamente Morin and Hazary Nelson. She was the middle child of the three children. She was predeceased by her brother Adrien Nelson.She is survived by her sister Claudette Raymond.She was a merchant and enjoyed sewing clothes.
Wiltha Freycinet and the late Augustin Parvilus had one daughter, Marie Armele Alfred. Her son-in-law Borel Alfred had a great relationship with her, where they converse about events that going on in Haiti. On August 31, 1989, she married her late husband, Rosier Freycinet. Prior to coming to the United States, she had raised her granddaughter Sandy Laurent with her sister’s assistance. On April 8, 1993, she immigrated to the United States and resided with her daughter and her son-in-law Borel Alfred, where she assisted raising her grandson, Steven Alfred. She was an amazing grandmother and caring person. She was witty and feisty. She enjoyed reminiscing about her life in Haiti.
Wiltha Freycinet leaves to cherish in her loving memory her only daughter Marie Armele Alfred, her son-in-law Borel Alfred, her sister Claudette Raymond, her grand-children Sandy Laurent and Steven Alfred, her great son Doryan Hindrick, her stepchildren, her nieces, her nephews, her cousins and friends. We will always remember you because both of your grandchildren shared the same birthday month, especially Steven same month and same date. Heaven has gained a wonderful angel. Finally rest in Peace.
