On May 21st, 2024, Yolette Abraham Bien-Aime passed away after a short battle with cancer at University Hospital in Newark, NJ. Yolette was born on October 16th, 1957, in Port-au-Prince, Haiti. She was the daughter of the late Lucia Pierre and Ducarmel Bien-Aime. In her younger years, she attended the College named Normalien in Port-au-Prince. In 1990, she married her late husband, James Abraham. The couple welcomed their only daughter, Sasha Abraham. Yolette enjoyed exploring the world and indulging in various cultures. She had the opportunity to come to America in 2020. She cherished her relationships with her family and friends. Yolette spent her time reading and socializing with others, she was a loving and caring woman. She was a devoted mother who would work diligently to make her daughter proud. She was also compassionate and tried her best to put others first. Yolette continuously had a smile on her, this will be greatly missed, to know her was to love her.
Yolette leaves to cherish her loving memory; her daughter: Sasha Abraham. Her brothers: Frantz and Herold Celestin, and wives, Uncle: Gerard Pierre and wife, Tresaus Pierre and wife, Ainold Pierre (PePe) and wife, Gentil Pierre and wife, and Alfred Pierre and wife. Aunts: Phanelie Pierre and Viergela Pierre. Cousins: Edith Lusma, Romane, Harold, Soledad, Magalie, Jean Marais, Rosemonde, Jackson, Florence, Reginald, Taylor, Judith, Patrick, Harry, Jean, Alnold, Arthur, Jonas, Guerdy, Gerald, Alexandre, Junie, Moise, Mario, Josue, Thafara and Samuel; also including many more cousins, nieces, and nephews.
